Arnel Hechanova , MD, is a pediatrician who provides primary care for infants, children and adolescents through all of their developmental stages. He especially enjoys the relationships and interaction with his young patients and caring for them.

He is a graduate of Cebu Institute of Medicine, Philippines and trained in Pediatrics at The Long Island College Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Hechanova has been practicing since 2002 in the Hudson Valley region and more recently in Long Beach, NY. His practice specializes in both outpatient and inpatient care of pediatric patients. His interests also include asthma management. He is the Chief of Pediatrics at Columbia Memorial Hospital since 2014 where he also mentors and instructs medical students

Dr. Hechanova received the honor of being named one of the top doctors of 2018 in the Hudson Valley and he is board certified in Pediatrics.
